There's good news - the virus seems to indeed be a Soul Virus, and they only last about a week at the most.
Geena got out a medical encyclopaedia and read up. I had to smother a giggle as she took my aunt's old opera glasses out of a table drawer and peered at the small text (there's nothing wrong with her eyesight, she just wanted to play with a prop!) and said essentially what I wrote up at the top there.
Geenadrill can read very well. But she did get rather carried away with the intellectual act. The Pokepaedia used words like 'beneficent' and 'enhancing' and after 'superfluous', Roon decided he'd heard enough and flicked the tome out of her claws with his tail.
Dark found this very funny, earning herself a swipe from Geena, which had Maroon in fits of growlish laughter.
Before I could intervene, all   three of them were tumbling about, play-fighting.
And now I have THREE  blue Pokemon to contend with.
